What is transport logistic?
Transport logistic is the world’s largest trade fair for logistics and mobility. Decision-makers from around the globe look to transport logistic in Munich in their search for solutions along the entire value chain. The world’s leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management is considered the central industry meeting place.
Visitors are mainly responsible for logistics chains in industry and commerce. Their main areas of interest are:
- services related to freight transport and logistics,
- equipment for freight transport by road, rail, water and air
- intralogistics, warehouse management systems, auto-ID and packaging
- IT, telematics, e-business, telecommunications.
2023 transport logistic wrap up
The exhibition space, spanning 127,000 square meters across ten halls and an outdoor track system, was completely booked out. This expansive area provided ample room for exhibitors to showcase their products, services, and innovations. The success of transport logistic 2023 was evident through the enthusiastic response from industry professionals.
The event this year boasted the highest number of international exhibitors to date, with 1,390 out of the 2,320 exhibitors coming from abroad. This record-breaking figure highlighted the global nature of the event and its significance in fostering international collaboration.
The top ten exhibiting countries after Germany were:

- Spain,
- Poland,
- and Great Britain.
Over 50 presentations and panel discussions with more than 250 experts addressed what moves the logistics industry at the moment and provided know-how on hot topics, innovations and trends.
Transport logistic 2023 was a testament to the vibrancy and innovation within the logistics industry. The event’s record-breaking attendance, international exhibitors, and focus on sustainability highlighted its significance as a global platform for collaboration, idea exchange, and shaping the future of logistics.
Prilo at transport logistic
This time Prilo Team didn’t exhibit, but we had a grand time as visitors as well! During the four days of the exhibition, we had the pleasure of seeing how industry leaders promote their business on a big scale.
Sustainability emerged as a key theme throughout the exhibition, drawing attention to the industry’s collective efforts in addressing environmental concerns. Kühne+Nagel Managing Director Tobias Jerschke praised the focus on sustainability as a strong signal for the entire industry, enabling companies to align their strategies with this crucial issue. Alessandro Cacciola, CEO at the Andreas Schmid Group, recognized transport logistic as an active catalyst in shaping the future of logistics, with sustainability playing a central role.
Current trends, such as digitization, climate protection, global supply chains, and the importance of people in the logistics field have made a list of recurring topics we’ve talked about with many logistic professionals during our time in Munich on May 10th.
What’s next in the calendar for Prilo?
Looking far ahead, the next transport logistic event is scheduled for June 2 to 5, 2025. Before then, however, we at Prilo will be making our mark on E.A.I.V.T. Congress in the Netherlands.
