New Directions in Logistics: Prilo at the ECG Conference and TransLogistyka Poland
>At the turn of October and November, our Prilo Team attended two of the most important events in the logistics industry: the ECG conference and the TransLogistyka Poland 2024 trade fair. Here is our report.
Table of contents
Two key events for European logistics
TransLogistyka Poland is the largest trade fair for the logistics, transport, and warehousing industries in Central and Eastern Europe, held annually in Warsaw. The event attracts leaders from the transport sector, representatives of logistics companies, and supply chain management experts seeking the latest technological solutions and business networking opportunities. Entry to the event is paid but does not require significant selection.
In contrast, the ECG conference is a meeting place for members of the association. ECG – The Association of European Vehicle Logistics – brings together a select group of companies specializing in the logistics of finished vehicles across Europe. It is a key player in the car transport industry, supporting development, innovation, and standardization in automotive logistics while advocating for companies involved in the transport and storage of finished vehicles.
Why is the ECG Conference crucial for the FVL industry?
The main goal of the ECG association is to represent and support the interests of European logistics companies specializing in vehicle transportation. The organization focuses on promoting sustainable development, enhancing standardization, and improving the quality and efficiency of logistics services.
Through ECG’s activities, logistics companies can engage in international cooperation and tackle challenges such as:
- Reducing the carbon footprint: Supporting eco-friendly initiatives contributes to creating a more sustainable finished vehicle supply chain.
- Automation and efficiency: Technological innovations and process standardization enable companies to optimize fleet management, improving efficiency.
- Strengthening negotiating positions: ECG represents its members in dealings with EU institutions and industry regulators, allowing companies to participate more effectively in shaping the future of vehicle logistics.
During the association’s cyclical conferences, member companies have the opportunity to learn about the latest regulatory changes, current market conditions, and network with specialists in the finished vehicle logistics sector.
For companies seeking partners in this niche transport industry, the ECG conference is an ideal venue to establish new business connections.
Participating in TransLogistyka: benefits for the transport industry
The goal of TransLogistyka is to present modern technological and logistical solutions crucial for the efficiency and competitiveness of transport enterprises. The fair focuses on showcasing solutions in digitization and automation of processes, sustainable development, and technological innovations such as e-mobility and intelligent supply chain management systems.
TransLogistyka Poland is an event that brings together the broad logistics industry and entities from various transport sectors worldwide. Participation provides an opportunity to showcase products and meet potential clients and partners from sectors such as logistics, transport, warehousing, and manufacturing.
Each year, the event attracts over 10,000 participants and more than 400 exhibitors across four large halls. It includes companies not only involved in car transportation but also cargo, maritime, air, and rail transport, along with those offering a wide range of solutions for these logistics sectors.
Adampol, Hyundai Glovis and Prilo – what unites us?
Hyundai Glovis, Adampol, and Prilo are a closely linked business family connected by the car transport industry. As a shareholder in Adampol, Hyundai Glovis plays a key role in overseeing the company and setting new directions for development. One such initiative is the Prilo platform – a car transport exchange created and fully operated by Adampol.
Automotive logistics remains a niche in the industry, reflected in its operational methods. Despite other transport exchanges being available, phone and email remain the primary tools for sales. Prilo has been paving the way in European car transport for three years, with over 6,500 registered users, 14,500 loads published in 2024 alone, and thousands of transactions made through the platform. The user-friendly interface, diverse loads, B2B business model, and availability in three languages – including Polish, English and Lithuanian – are just some of its advantages, aligning with Hyundai Glovis’ development plans.
At TransLogistyka Poland, held in Warsaw from November 5–7, 2024, all three organizations shared a booth to demonstrate their unity and comprehensive logistics support across the organization.

The Prilo Team at the ECG 2024 Conference
The ECG 2024 conference, held October 24–25 at the Grand Elysée Hotel in Hamburg, Germany, gathered nearly 580 participants from association member companies.
Our team, Iwona Konieczna and Marcin Koziak, had the opportunity to hear presentations from speakers from companies such as VEGA and Man Truck & Bus Deutschland. They also participated in thematic panels featuring representatives from Hödlmayr International, Mercedes-Benz, JLR, and Renault Group.
The ECG 2024 conference provided participants with valuable insights into current trends in finished vehicle logistics and created a platform for exchanging experiences and establishing industry collaborations.
For carriers, dealers, manufacturers, and forwarding agents specializing in vehicles, this event is one of the most significant of the year. As it is for us.

The Future of Finished Vehicle Logistics with Prilo
Finished vehicle logistics plays a crucial role in the automotive industry, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of cars from manufacturers to dealers and end customers. Quick access to loads and quotes from carriers willing to transport these loads is key to effective transport management. The lock that matches that key is virtually a car transport exchange – like our Prilo.
Prilo offers advanced fleet management tools, enabling:
- Route planning and optimization: An intelligent search engine suggests loads available on specific routes or within a 500 km radius. Algorithms also recommend connecting loads from unloading locations, saving time on searching for subsequent routes or orders.
- Load management: Our system helps companies maximize transport capabilities, minimizing empty runs. It simplifies adding supplementary loads to partially filled transporters, helps assign new loads to drivers stranded en route, or finds matches for return trips.
- Integration with client systems: With API, our technologies can be easily integrated into existing TMS systems, streamlining order addition, editing, acceptance, and removal processes.
In a world where the pace of change is accelerating and every second in transport translates to money, Prilo plays a key role in transforming finished vehicle logistics. By innovating sales processes for operational departments, we help companies not only adapt to new challenges but also stay ahead of the competition by acting faster, cheaper, and more efficiently than just with phone and email.
The future of finished vehicle logistics with Prilo combines modern technology, sustainable development, and operational efficiency into one cohesive ecosystem.
